A Short-Form PDF for Your PAT Reports
A new compact export for VDE 0701/0702 appliance testing — one row per device, fitting a whole job onto a couple of pages.
When you test a batch of appliances, the report can quickly run long: every device gets its own page, the full visual-inspection checklist, the complete specification block, and the parties and test equipment repeated each time. Useful when you need every detail — more than you want when you simply need to hand someone a clean overview.
So we added a short-form PDF for VDE 0701/0702 appliance testing reports, alongside the existing detailed one.
The short form keeps the parts you reach for first:
- The VDE 0701/0702 summary — total measurements, pass/fail, and the protection-class overview
- One row per device with its name, barcode, protection class, test date and next-due date, location, and the two core measured values
- Repeat tests listed underneath the device they belong to, so nothing is hidden
- The tester, signature, and the test equipment used
Everything else — the per-criterion visual inspection, full device specifications, and photos — stays in the detailed report. The short form also carries a QR code that opens the same documentation digitally in Sparkify.
The result is a report that fits a job of several devices onto a couple of pages instead of a dozen — easier to read, easier to forward, and just as traceable. You choose which version to export; the detailed report remains available whenever you need it. For now, the short form is only available on the web for PDF creation.
