Draft State: The Safety Net in Sparkify

Sometimes things happen: the app closes unexpectedly, your smartphone battery runs out, or your device overheats.

Sometimes things happen: the app closes unexpectedly, your smartphone battery runs out, or your device overheats.

To make sure your work is not lost in situations like these, Sparkify automatically saves your current progress at regular intervals as a Draft State — an unfinished draft of your documentation.

When you reopen the app and return to the same workspace, you will be asked whether you want to continue where you left off or discard the draft and start again.

You do not need to activate anything. Draft State works automatically in the background — on both iOS and Android.

Draft State is designed as a safety net for unexpected interruptions. However, it is not a replacement for deliberately saving and completing your documentation. We therefore recommend saving your work properly whenever possible once you are finished.

Do you have feedback or ideas for improvement? Feel free to contact us directly from within the app.
