Add users to a workspace
Invite teammates to your Sparkify workspace and assign their role.
Sparkify workspaces let you collaborate with your team on field documentation, reports, and projects. Only workspace admins can invite new users.
Before you start
- You need admin permissions in the workspace.
- Have the email addresses of the people you want to invite.
- Decide which role each new user should have (see Roles below).
Open Sparkify
Open the Sparkify app on your phone. From the home screen, tap your profile to access your workspace settings.
Open the Members list
In your profile, tap Members to see who currently has access to the workspace.
Invite a new member
The Members list shows everyone in your workspace. Tap Invite user and enter the person's email address.
Choose a role and send
Pick a role for the new user — Admin, Member, or Viewer (see Roles below) — then tap Send invite. The invited user receives an email with a link to join the workspace; the link expires after 7 days.
Roles

| Admin | Full control — manage members, billing, and all projects. |
| Member | Create and edit projects, reports, and documentation. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to shared projects. |
Resend or revoke an invite
In Members, pending invites are listed at the top. Tap an invite to Resend or Revoke it.
Remove a user
- Go to Members in your workspace settings.
- Tap the user you want to remove.
- Tap Remove from workspace.
Removed users immediately lose access to all workspace projects. Their past contributions (reports, comments, edits) are preserved.
Troubleshooting
- Invite email didn't arrive — ask the user to check their spam folder, then resend the invite.
- "User already in another workspace" — a Sparkify account can belong to multiple workspaces; the invitee just needs to accept the new invite from the switcher.
- Hit the user limit on your plan — upgrade in Settings → Billing or remove inactive members first.
